Before and while you proceed
with your Literature Review, you may want to consider the following
questions:
Do you need a separate
section called "Literature Review"? [Sometimes
you will decide with your advisor to include the review of the
literature in your introduction and not in a separate chapter].
If you do need such
a section:
Do you introduce
it, explaining what you are going to discuss and how it is organized?
[note: do not refer to the literature in this section.]
Are your different sub-sections
linked and logically organized?
Do you end your section with a
summary? [note: do not refer to the literature
in this section.]
Do you mention only works that
are directly related to your research problem?
Is your referencing system consistent?
[Remember Unit 2 above]
Do all the documents referred
to appear in the "References" section
at the end of your document?
