This task will
help you decide which sources are appropriate
for post-graduate research.
The internet has become an essential
source of information for post-graduate research. Students usually
encounter two problems:
Most students use Google to search the web.
However, they don't really know how to use key words to get the
most appropriate results. Try to be as specific
as possible. If you are looking for information about tilapia
in Thailand, enter "tilapia Thailand" rather than "fish".
Spend some time reading Google's Basics
of Google Search. Another extremely useful resource -not limited
to Google- is UC Berkeley's tutorial
on how to search the internet.
